We are the PEI Writers' Guild—a group of authors, editors, publishing industry professionals, and community-minded writers.
We’re rooted in Epekwitk (PEI) but we have a dynamic, enveloping global wingspan. We are students, and we are teachers. We write short fiction, YA, memoir, poetry, travel. We write creative nonfiction, lyric poems, ballads, poetry, and recipes. We are spoken word artists, performance poets, and we write legends, bedtime stories, and more!

Looking to share your writing, connect with other local and likeminded writers, and grow your craft in a supportive environment? This monthly creative writing group is for folks who are looking for a consistent community of writers to share their work and receive constructive feedback on their writing. Together we aim to create a safe space for writers to share, read, workshop, and develop their writing skills.
We workshop genre fiction, creative nonfiction, short fiction, scripts, memoir, prose, etc. For poets we recommend checking out our monthly poetry club! If you don’t have any writing to share, no worries! Feel free to attend, participate, and meet our community.
If you would like to participate in the writing group, please email 3-5 pages (max!) of writing to Jo (jo.godden79@gmail.com) by the Wednesday before the meeting.
